Archives

Theodor Leschetizky’s daughter Thérèse bequeathed a trunk full of materials to the Leschetizky Association. In the trunk were Leschetizky’s calendars covering the Vienna years, and booklets containing the programs of his biweekly Classes, all in his own hand, as well as letters, photographs, and fair copies of many of his compositions. These, along with further contributions from his students who became members of the Association, make up the Theodor Leschetizky Archive. Plans are underway to have the collection digitized and made available to musicologists and historians.

We also maintain a Leschetizky Association Archive of the Association’s activities since its founding in 1942. The collection includes concert programs, letters to and from past presidents, and News Bulletins.
