The Leschetizky Association offers a variety of programs to perpetuate and renew our classical music legacy for our members, their students, and the public.
Our Student Events offer informal and also adjudicated performance opportunities for young students, as well as master classes and showcase concerts. The Live Music By Living Composers series features compelling new music. Piano teachers find support and ideas through our Teachers Forum series. Performance opportunities abound for pianists both professional and amateur via our Members Musicale program and our Concert Series. Finally, our biennial Concerto Competition provides an exciting opportunity for promising young pianists to perform with an orchestra in New York City.
Above all, we seek the continuation of the musical spirit that the great piano pedagogue, Theodor Leschetizky, created in his Vienna studio.
Your support makes this all possible. Thank you!
