Kazakhstan-born pianist Ivan Gusev returns to our series again as the Leschetizky Birthday recitalist. A graduate of Moscow Conservatory with highest honors, he has his masters degree from Mannes, where also he was winner of the concerto competition. He is a laureate of numerous prestigious international competitions.
Allan Evans said of Gusev, “He is a profound, genuine musician who makes each note live and transports you to another existence.”
