The Artist Student Recital is a public performance opportunity for advanced-level students aged 18 and above. The recital will take place at Tenri Cultural Institute, 43A West 13th Street, NYC. Free admission, family and friends welcomed, donations appreciated.
Each teacher may submit 2 students, and waitlist a third for inclusion if the program is not filled. Deadline for enrollment is Jan. 29. Students may play up to ten minutes total, and should play from memory, unless permission is given in advance to use the score (this will apply only to certain repertoire). Performers should be properly dressed for a concert.
Please contact François Nezwazky at [email protected] to enroll your students. Your email should include teacher’s name, student’s name, student’s age, name of piece, composer, sections or movements, and total performance time for each piece.
There is a $30 fee per student, to cover costs of presenting the concert. You may send payment via the Pay Now button below, or a check, made out to The Leschetizky Association, may be sent directly to Young Drago at 37-21 90th Street, Jackson Heights, NY 11372.
