Topic: Method for a New Millennium
For over three centuries, so many composers have written music for beginning and intermediate level pianists. Now here is an opportunity for an introduction to music by living composers from the 21st or late 20th centuries! Participants can share and demonstrate examples and highlight the musical merits as well as pedagogical benefits. In a round table discussion we will explore the necessity for new material in addition to those classics which have been a mainstay for both students and teachers. This is an opportunity to welcome new musical voices and a lively exchange of ideas!
Zelma Bodzin will be the zoom host for this event. There are limited spaces for those who wish to participate in person. To register for this event, please email Alexandra Eames at [email protected].
